1. For Sleeping Bag front, lay one outside cotton piece wrong side up. Lay one “Fuzzy Back” fabric, right side up, on the outside cotton with the 4” extension beyond the top of the Sleeping Bag.
2. Using a 3.5 stitch length, stitch on the “Fuzzy Back” quilt lines.
3. Repeat Step 1 and Step 2 using the other pieces for the back.
4. Serge only the three sides without the extension.
5. Pin the right side of the zipper to one long side of the Sleeping Bag outside front. The top of the zipper should be just below the extension. Stitch. Repeat for the other side of the zipper on the back.
6. Press ½” under on the extension sides only above the zipper. Stitch.
7. With right sides together, pin the side and bottom of the Sleeping Bag. Stitch.
8. Press the extension 2” toward the wrong side of the fabric. Press an additional 2”to overlap the top of the Sleeping Bag. Stitch close to the pressed edge.
That's it!
